A good balance for an entry into open source operating systems
What do you like best about the product?
When you mention Linux to a normal user, they are very easily intimidated mentioning how complicated it is to setup and use vs Windows operating systems. Ubuntu sets out to change all of that and has perfect balance between being user-friendly while still maintaining everything Linux stands for.
What do you dislike about the product?
The newer versions of Ubuntu are now relying on better graphics hardware. While it does look nice, I wish they would go for more lighter approach for the default editions, and if required a more fancy setup for those who have the hardware.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For small and medium business enterprises, software licensing costs can be a huge burden, especially in developing countries. Ubuntu allows you to explore the world of free and open source on a native level.

Using Ubuntu in Windows
What do you like best about the product?
It's the best alternative if you do not want to install virtual machine. It's installed inside WSL which is a built-in feature from Windows itself. So we can use Ubuntu like in its native OS.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only minus in WSL because it does not provide a GUI for us to use. It's only like a headless ubuntu and the only way we can use is from the command. If you're new to Linux, it can be a trouble.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When we are developing something especially softwares, we want to deploy the app as soon as possible to the server. Using Ubuntu Desktop can help me to deploy faster without installing another OS.
Very good OS for the development

What do you dislike about the product?
As it's open source so comparatively let's secure and also taking backup is little difficult than windows. Only business selected application can be run on the device
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As it's lighter so it runs more smooth than other operating systems because only business selected applications can be run in the device. Administrators can have all the control
Ubuntu is perfect for who want to delve into Deeplearning development
What do you like best about the product?
Born GNU, command line tools a pretty perfect as well as the system's stability. Love the way the boot times are quite fast and 'apt' tools works seamsly. Defintively recommend it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike about it. The system runs with more pros than expected and since it is free, it deals with a perfect world of innovation, usability, estability and commodity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation RPA for reporting, automatic backups, AI laboratory tests (specually LLMs). Deeplearning tests and probes including machine learning. Notwithstanding, it also provides me ETL support.
Light, free, the development environment for everyone
What do you like best about the product?
Its UI has been made accessible and friendlier over the years with smooth transitions and feel thanks to GNOME. It is the most accessible and easiest environment to get into Linux with. The themes and customization options are quite broad. Its ISO and system load is lighter on the hardware than Windows flavors are and customization options are even broader by utilizing the BASH and CLIs. Many software tools have support for its distributions, so I can setup development SDKs of even lesser-known packages with more ease than I can on Windows or MacOS.
What do you dislike about the product?
The CLI and the overall reliance on Bash commands and modules to fix certain things about your OS, from drivers to orientation to UI, make things more compicated than Windows. Despite its UI offering a lot more than it used to, the settings are still limited in what you see compared to what you don't know you can do with the terminal. When I install packages, using apt or apt-get, it can be hard to completely remove them when dependencies get installed. I need to scrutinize what other packages got shipped with it that were not removed because the system still thinks I need them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All my development work is done on Ubuntu, because most software tools contain installation instructions tailored to Ubuntu (that they might not for even MacOS or Windows). The UI also distracts me a lot less as compared to Windows. There are some packages that work only on a Linux-based environment, and there are less complications in setting them up here than on Kali or Bodhi Linux. It also comes with several commonly-used packages on its install, like gcc, git and openssl, hence, every time I do a fresh installation, I do not have to set these up myself.
Ubuntu Server Review: A Stable Foundation for Your Infrastructure
What do you like best about the product?
Ubuntu Server LTS (Long Term Support) releases are known for their stability and reliability. They receive updates and security patches for five years, providing a solid foundation for server infrastructure.
Ubuntu Server benefits from regular security updates and a large community of users who actively report and address vulnerabilities. Additionally, features like AppArmor and UFW (Uncomplicated Firewall) help enhance server security.

What do you dislike about the product?
While LTS (Long Term Support) releases receive updates and security patches for five years, non-LTS releases have a shorter support period, typically around nine months. This means more frequent upgrades are necessary for users who prefer the latest software.
Ubuntu Server, like many modern Linux distributions, may consume more system resources compared to lightweight alternatives. This could be a concern for servers with very limited resources.

Ubuntu is the linux based OS that is really easy to use and similar to windows. It's easy to navigate and offers all the linux features, bundled with support of a lot of softwares.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Ubuntu software centre is not most stable app. It has crashed multiple times when installing a big app like Google chrome. This can be improved, and I think that's the most irritating feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides me the open source OS, that is compatible to most hardware, and has inbuilt or web available drivers. All in all provides a great bridge between Windows and Linux.
