One of the best OS for developers.
What do you like best about the product?
It is very fast as compared to windows. It is free and open source, which means anyone can use, modify and distribute for free. Ubuntu provides long-term support releases, which are supported for an extended period. Ubuntu offers a vast software ecosystem which provides developers to set up their development environment. Ubuntu offers a powerful Command-line interface. Ubuntu is also a popular choice for containerisation and Docker-based development workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not beginner friendly for users who used to work on Windows previously. Its GUI is not that great. Many advanced features like Windows are missing. Gamers may find Ubuntu unuseful due to its limitation with certain games. Software compatibility is also an issue for some software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ubuntu brings me close to the machine, which helps me find bugs and optimise my code to run on all operating systems efficiently. Its command line interface also helped me to program efficiently.

What do you like best about the product?
Ubuntu is a very nice and small size. I always carry ubuntu in a pendrive for easy access, and there is zero to no bloatware. You can fully control the process I want to run in the background and which shall not run.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is almost nothing that i like about ubuntu, I don't know why most of the people are not using it instead of using windows or other operating systems. Plus there are almost no issues or bugs. If there is one bug the community comes together and fixs it quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ubuntu is free so when ever i am dploying any kind of server i install ubuntu in it, plus it's very lightweight so, even it can be easily installed in low speed internet

What do you like best about the product?
The installation process of Ubuntu server is very pleasant, this is of great value when setting up a laboratory for tests, since it speeds up the availability of the server where the tests will be carried out, whether it is a web server or another use
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say that to a large extent, the negative point would be the constant updating of the operating system, this is done by a server that cannot be used most of the time as a server for a service in production, due to the constant need to update the OS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Effective alternative for carrying out test laboratories and considerably reduced the time invested in setting up servers, giving more time to technical staff to maintain themselves in testing the service for which the server was set up
Ubuntu - a open source world
What do you like best about the product?
Ubuntu is open source Linux distribution. There is no need to pay for using this operation system. Huge community is there to help, if you have face any problem while using Ubuntu.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only disadvantage is user need to some knowledge to use Ubuntu. Because it's linux. We can't install a program easily like open .exe file and next next to install in windows. We need to some basic terminology for using Linux terminal. This is the only disadvantage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ubuntu server my money. I am an administrator. There are more than 200+ computers are there our lab. If i purchase operating system like windows, or other enterprise edition, the cost more than 500$ ~ 1000$. But Ubuntu is free and open source.
Free & efficient platform
What do you like best about the product?
It's an free & easy to use platform and very comfortable operating system requires less storage for installation and is also a very light weight operating system which does not give any load to the hardware system.
What do you dislike about the product?
It requires everything to be installed by the command line in the terminal and every user is not comfortable with it like for older generation and the people who do not know how to use the terminal command line.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ubuntu provides free operating system for using and is an light weight os in which the the operations do not put any kind of load on the hardware system.

It is hard to use as compared to windows.
Some of its packages automatically updated and we can't turned it off.

We are using it for cloud computing,server desktop,and IOT as it is open and available for others, doesn't feel threatened.

When I switched to Ubuntu, I just continued my dev environment. No Installs needed.

It was hard to make it recognize my graphics card, but it turned out well after a few minutes of research

Ease of use, ease of setup, ease of making all in one installation images.

Ubuntu is open source OS which has no licence cost available free code can be modified by anyone as per their requirment like fedora, apche etc many flavours are availble in market.

Not for Non IT user required knowlege of commands should be well versed with Linux for proper administration currently we have User interface in some of flavours.

It provides a free operation system to deploy apps hosting server etc, its more secure and faster than windos operation system and as its free it also cost efficient for person and organizations.

Ubuntu is a more secure, resource-friendly, fully customized OS for Desktop computing.
It does not need many installations to run, and I like more the feature of window tiling. It requires simple Hardware/Software to run/work on the system.

A few popular software like Adobe, mp3 etc. does not support this OS..
Switching from Ubuntu OS to another is not comfortable.
If you would like to install some apps, you should do this by Command prompt only, not by clicking on the window.
