Ubuntu is a way to go when thinking of deploying any Linux based Machine.
What do you like best about the product?
I liked how easy to install the new daemons, which can very quickly convert the operating system into a network firewall or a router. And all of this can happen for free as this is open source and supports multiple other open source products such as quagga for routing, squid to use it as a proxy. Further, this is a very customizable platform developer can use very quickly.
I also liked how it supported microservices architecture; it is very user-friendly. Another great point of using Ubuntu is the availability of large communities constantly discussing and answering problems, which helps resolve the issue quickly.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the updates they pushed last year have messed up systems and created the outage; Canonical (Ubuntu Developers) should test the updates before going, as the extensive community and organizations use Ubuntu, a minor blip can cause a massive outage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Running our open-source databases, Kubernetes (microservices), routers, and proxy on Ubuntu. This helps to save the overall cost of buying the trademark software.

Although there have been improvements to the user interface, it's stil behind those like Windows and Apple. It is less user friendly if you are looking for those kinds of visuals, but it's really meant to be used from the command line. This is where it shines.
