Great help to jump start SOC2 compliance.
What do you like best about the product?
Before using Drata, we struggled to navigate the complexities of SOC2 compliance. Drata's automated platform streamlined our compliance efforts, significantly reducing our workload. The intuitive interface made it easy for our team to understand and implement the required controls. Additionally, Drata's customer support was always responsive and helpful. Drata also helped us partner with a great Audit firm that could leverage all the work done in Drata.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only issue we had with Drata is that there is no intergration with the MDM (ManageEngine) that we use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Policy Center has helped us a lot with writing draft, distributing and tracking. The Audit Hub and the ability for us to interact with our auditors is priceless.

The ease of collaboration and the dedication of the Drata Team to get things working and to help educate new users.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no downside! The solution is easy to use, I am in it daily and the bot and knowledge base are excellant.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata is allowing me to automate monitoring of areas that can't be fully integrated yet into the solution. And the automated monitoring lessons time for audit and assessment requests.

SOC 2 Simplified
What do you like best about the product?
Drata is vital for our continuous control monitoring & provides a level of process insight we weren't capable of prior. Our driven approach to security is now backed by linked evidence, accountability, & reporting statistics. The Drata team is fantastic & one of the best vendor relationships I've experienced in my career. I've used Drata across companies & hope to continue to use them in the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
They are expensive; the cost of adding additional frameworks is too pricey & has discouraged us on making an additional purchase decision unless absolute need requires.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata helps monitor our internal control structure in real-time & gives us visibility & ownership while enabling a proper division of labor among our staff & departments.
I don't know where we'd be without Drata
What do you like best about the product?
Drata does three things extremely well: 1) it automates a ton of our security processes, 2) it centralizes everything related to security for our company (automated or not), and 3) it offers outstanding customer support. Combined, it makes it a no-brainer for us to work with Drata. Relatively speaking, we're a fairly small company but we work with many global conglomerates and are able to earn their trust thanks to our enhanced security posture, which wouldn't be possible without Drata.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you're new to the security ecosystem the way I was, then it can take a while to wrap your head around terms, concepts, and what lives where. My understanding is that they did an initial onboarding with our company, but I wasn't handling much about security yet so I missed it. Our Drata client experience representative has been great to get me up to speed, but in the early days I was pretty lost at all the terms and tabs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us centralize and administer all of our company's security efforts. It enables a small company like ours to have a robust security and compliance program without having to double the size of our team.
Working with Drata Has Been Excellent
What do you like best about the product?
Our rep Craig has been spectacular. Our organization isn't always the easiest to work with, so his infinite patience and expertise has been critical to our success with our SOC-2 audit process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing major, I guess near the beginning we had some technical issues getting accounts synced, but it wasn't really that big of a problem.

As we go through our first SOC-2 audit, the Drata platform allows us to track our progress and identify areas we need to address.

I loved the personalized help we gained from our Drata Customer Success Manager, Craig. This journey was new to our organization and he helped us sort through what to prioritize.

What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love Drata's ISMS Dashboard view. It seamlessly connects our entire IT stack, providing real-time insights into areas or team members that might need attention. The latest Risk Management Module, aligned with ISO/IEC controls, is a game-changer—it has significantly streamlined our compliance processes. Additionally, the team at Drata is incredibly innovative, making security and compliance not just manageable but actually enjoyable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to disklike about Drata, even the pricing is very competitive!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When we onboarded to Drata three years ago, we faced a tight five-month deadline to achieve ISO/IEC 27001 and 27701 certification. Thanks to Drata, we were able to meet this goal in just three months. Since then, we've smoothly navigated our annual audits, and both our security and privacy posture have significantly matured alongside Drata’s product. The platform’s continuous innovation and alignment with regulatory requirements have made compliance management much more efficient and effective for our organization.
Excellent for startups
What do you like best about the product?
Drata acts as your virtual compliance officer. I'm really the last one to naturally be handling compliance- but as a startup we all have to branch out. Drata steps in to have my back and help me to be as conscientious as the product deserves.
Customer success management has been exemplary from Drata- in particular, working with Elizabeth John, whose patience, diligence, and industry knowledge have been mission-critical to our process. Drata is a great tool, don't get me wrong, but I still think my team and I would be coming up short without her.
When Drata was recommended to me, I was skeptical. I'd come from heavily regulated industries and just couldn't believe a tool could make compliance and certification very easy. It's a hard job, and it requires hard-headed persistent effort and rigor. While all that is still true, Drata made it so that a "cowboy" like me could get the job done.
I am in Drata almost every day. It integrated with our stack almost seamlesssly (we use Vercel, so that is still TBD for integration). Implementation was honestly a breeze once we got our IDP straightened out.

Their onboarding partner system wasn't great- but my understanding is that they've done away with that pipeline and brought onboarding in-house. This was a brilliant move. Communication and accountability are so through the roof now that I am the the one letting THEM down more often than not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The entire certification process is being handled in Drata.
Drata at Intelcom
What do you like best about the product?
From the initial discovery call, throughout onboarding and continuing to biweekly calls with the different Drata representatives who've been assigned to the Intelcom account (all of whom are experienced and supportive) my experience has been excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have nothing negative to say about Drata.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Although my company has not fully onboarded all facets, the tool helped me to prepare for the company's SOC 2 Type 1 audit.
