Makes compliance more understandable
What do you like best about the product?
Pre-built policies are a great starting point and have extensive notes about what could change and which parts are critical and should not be removed. For someone who is not familiar with compliance there's a lot of guidance and features that help understand where you are and what still has to be done.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integrations help make the whole process easier, and they have built many for the tools with the most market share. If you use less common tools you'll have to do more manual work. I'm sure that they will continue to build more integrations over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our customers are asking about SOC 2 compliance more and more frequently. Without any personnel specifically to address this, we need a platform to help make it feasible.

The Drata team was an essential part of our SOC2 certification.
What do you like best about the product?
We have recently completed our first SOC2 Audit, and I honestly do not think we could have done this successfully without the Drata framework and support from Elizabeth John and Courtney Barton. The Drata system is user friendly and comprehensive. The Live chat feature is exceptionally helpful to navigate questions about the platform itself and compliance. We had a series of meetings set up with Elizabeth who helped guide us through the initial set-up process, and adding evidence to our controls. Each meeting was an effective working session. Elizabeth was always prepared, kept us on task and an essential part of our SOC2 journey! I would also like to highlight our account manager, Courtney, for consistently checking in to make sure our current needs were met, where we may be heading in the future and how we might be able solve pain points for future audits. I would highly recommend Drata to other companies working to build a robust security platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes new policy templates were released, causing monitored controls to fail. It would be helpful to have a heads up on this so we would know what the failure was related to and act quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping us maintain the required evidence, policies and processes to obtain and maintain SOC2 compliance.
Great GRC platform to monitor all controls in one place and to establish a source of truth.

The interface is very friendly and the team keeps developing new features, and support is super fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Drata Agent needs more compatibility with UNIX systems.

My particular auditor didn't seem to care that I'm using Drata and we still end up collaborating via spreadsheets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata makes audit season MUCH MUCH easier, especially year over year, as now you have an excellent way of organizing evidence over time.

What do you like best about the product?
Using Drata has been an outstanding experience. The platform is incredibly user-friendly, and their 24/7 support makes navigating compliance straightforward. When I started my project, I had minimal knowledge about data security and relevant frameworks. Thanks to Drata’s comprehensive resources, I was able to educate myself more effectively than any book or course could have managed. The information is presented in layman’s terms, making it accessible to everyone. I highly recommend Drata to anyone looking to enhance their security measures.

Our company aimed to achieve ISO certification, but we lacked an in-house legal team and a data privacy officer. Drata's user-friendly platform and extensive resources addressed both of these challenges, enabling us to pass our initial certification with flying colors.

Amazing product and customer service. The best feature are it's customizable cross-map that can go in-depth and assign tasks.

It's a good product. The dislike would be probably more investment into the User Experience.

As we started our journey for SOC 2 and ISO certification, having policy templates at our fingertips expedited the process of compliance. In additional, the realtime monitoring of our posture and security controls is invaluable.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing in Drata that would be considered disliked. Every feature, whether we leverage said feature or not, is or will be valuable at some point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata is part of 3 pillars that we leverage in security and compliance. Drata is the security automation platform, our partner Rhyemetic is our vCISO and other partner Insight Assurance is our auditor. Having all three of those componants allows us to convey our dedication to compliance to our existing and prospective customers.
Easy to use product and great customer experience
What do you like best about the product?
Drata takes away the worry about making sure you have not forgotten any compliance task that needs to get done in your audit window. Additionall it has a great team of customer success people (ours was Elizabeth John) and if you ever have a specific question for an auditor, they have a team available that you can chat with at anytime to answer your questions quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It needs to have a way to automatically watermark reports in Trust Center for specific users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensuring we obtained and continue to maintain our SOC 2 Type II certification.

What do you like best about the product?
Drata takes the pain out of the compliance process by tapping into our existing systems and offering detailed insights into our compliance status. They have a wonderful customer success team that is both knowledgeable and helpful. Additionally, the support team available through the in-platform chat is extremely responsive and well-informed. As someone who had never managed a compliance project before, I was initially apprehensive. However, Drata's system and support has made the entire process seamless and worry-free.
What do you dislike about the product?
When starting my only worry was that the CS team were based in the US so not in my timezone. However, they have recentlt launched their UK team and I now have a UK-based CS manager 👍🏼

The Drata platform benefits us by significantly reducing the time and effort required to achieve and maintain compliance. The knowledgeable and responsive customer success and support teams further enhance our experience, ensuring that any issues or questions are promptly addressed. For someone like me, who had no prior experience with compliance projects, Drata's user-friendly system and excellent support have made the process straightforward and stress-free.
